I provided Neil with a brand new, freshened-up look by completely redesigning his old website and rebuilding it from the ground up as a modern, high-performance site.

Web Design — I gave the site a clean, modern, and professional refresh, creating an intuitive UI/UX that highlights driving lessons for all levels (beginners, nervous drivers, test prep). I focused on clear calls-to-action like WhatsApp booking, easy navigation to services, pricing, and contact details, while incorporating a calm, confidence-building aesthetic suitable for learner drivers in Waterford.
Web Development — I built the entire frontend using Next.js for fast loading, server-side rendering, and optimal performance on mobile and desktop — crucial for users quickly checking availability or booking lessons. I used Tailwind CSS for responsive, customizable styling that keeps the design sharp, approachable, and fully aligned with the brand's focus on safety, flexibility, and high pass rates.
Content Management & Testimonials/Services — I implemented Sanity as a headless CMS so Neil can easily manage and update key content himself. This includes editing service details (standard lessons, intensive courses, reduced EDT, gift vouchers, pre-test/mock test programs), adding or refreshing blog-style tips for learners, and displaying client testimonials or reviews dynamically. The setup makes it simple to add new feedback, adjust pricing, or promote special offers without any coding.
Additional Features — I optimized for local SEO to improve visibility in Waterford searches (e.g., “driving lessons Waterford”, “EDT Waterford”, “manual driving instructor Waterford”). I added responsive handling for any images (lesson cars, maps, etc.), ensured full mobile-friendliness, included secure/click-to-WhatsApp contact integration (using his number 089 212 2116), and built a solid, maintainable foundation ready for future additions like online booking calendars or payment links.
